Pretoria (administrative capital), Cape Town (legislative capital), Bloemfontein (judicial capital).

Area
1.22 million square km (1 km = 0.62 miles), bounded north by Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe, northeast by Mozambique and Swaziland, east by the Indian Ocean and south and west by the South Atlantic. South Africa encircles the tiny kingdom of Lesotho.

Language
The 11 official languages are English, Afrikaans, Sesotho, Sesotho sa Leboa, Setswana, SiSwati, Tshivenda, Xitsonga, isiNdebele, isiXhosa, isiZulu. English is the most commonly spoken language in official and commercial circles.
