750,614 square km (1 km = 0.62 miles), bordering, clockwise from north, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and Angola.

Language
English is the official language. There are more than 80 languages, of which five Bantu languages are officially used in education and administration: Bemba, Lozi, Nyanja, Tonga and Tumbuka.
