329,750 sq km (1 km = 0.62 miles). Eleven of Malaysia's thirteen states border Thailand on the southern part of the Kra peninsula (Peninsular Malaysia), and the remaining two (Sabah and Sarawak) border Brunei and the Indonesia territory of Kalimantan on the island of Borneo.

Language
Behasu Melayu is the official language, but Chinese dialects, Tamil, English and dozens of Orang Asli languages are also used.
