Track and windspeed of Intense hurricane Beta
TROPICAL STORM RISK
Intense hurricane Beta struck Nicaragua as a tropical storm at about 21:00 GMT on 30 October. Data supplied by the US National Hurricane Center suggest that the point of landfall was near 12.7 N, 84.4 W. Beta brought 1-minute maximum sustained winds to the region of around 101 km/hr (63 mph). Wind gusts in the area may have been considerably higher.
