Track and windspeed of Tropical storm Nelson

Tropical storm Nelson struck Australia at about 12:00 GMT on 6 February. Data supplied by the US Navy and Air Force Joint Typhoon Warning Center suggest that the point of landfall was near 16.6 S, 140.3 E. Nelson brought 1-minute maximum sustained winds to the region of around 83 km/h (51 mph). Wind gusts in the area may have been considerably higher.
