Track and windspeed of Severe cyclonic storm Aila

Severe cyclonic storm Aila struck India as a tropical storm at about 12:00 GMT on 25 May. Data supplied by the US Navy and Air Force Joint Typhoon Warning Center suggest that the point of landfall was near 22.9 N, 88.2 E. Aila brought 1-minute maximum sustained winds to the region of around 101 km/h (63 mph). Wind gusts in the area may have been considerably higher.
