Canadian Red Cross -- helping Quebec's homeless
The Canadian Red Cross is helping colleagues in Latin America to develop their national organisations. In Quebec, a housing shortage in the rental sector has become an annual crisis and the director of programmes, Josée Payant, told AlertNet how her organisation kept hundreds of homeless families from having to live on the streets.
