Between 2 and 17 August 2007, heavy rains fell in Mokolo, causing serious flooding in the Sarki-Fada, Tongo, Tourou, Dza-Wandaï, Idanang, Mendeze, Nassarawo, Domayo, Djimeta, Bonguelé, Guimengayak and Zimangayak neighbourhoods.
