As many as 17 million people in the Horn of Africa region are sliding into a humanitarian emergency. An acute crisis originated by a mix of conflict,prolonged drought,rising prices and animal disease is hitting Ethiopia,Eritrea,Djibouti, Kenya, Somalia and Uganda (Karamoja region)
