Burkina Faso - This map illustrates the affected districts and sectors within the capital city of Ouagadougou following the flash floods of 1 September 2009. All data on affected sectors and estimated affected people has been drawn from the OCHA SitRep report No.3 on 8 September 2009, local media reports and the Ouagadougou Communal demographic reports of 2005. This is a preliminary analysis & has not yet been validated in the field. Map scale for A3: 1:75,000; Projection: UTM Zone 30 North; Datum : WGS-84 (EGM-96).
