In response to the 30th September tragic earthquake in West Sumatra, Indonesia, which has killed more than 770 people and buried thousands others under rubbles, the first assessment team set up by ACTED has just arrived in the devastated area of Padang. Over the next few days, ACTED will carry out assessments of the damages and needs of the population and prepare an emergency response.
