Globalmedic has deployed its rapid response team to northern sri lanka. Team members will be distributing over 2000 Non-Food Item kits to those affected by the conflict.
These kits will include:
* Soap
* Toothpaste
* Toothbrushes
* Shampoo
* Laundry Detergent
The kits will also include household items such as shovels, lanterns and kitchen sets so those who have recently resettled can restart their lively hood.
Team members will also deliver a consignment of Aquatabs, PUR and ORS (Oral Rehydration Sachets). This consignment will provide clean drinking water which is essential in resettlement situations as there is no access to clean drinking water when people return home in a conflict or after a natural disaster.
