Life and Family coach, Margit Cruice has compiled a collection of short stories about Australia to raise $100,000 for Save the Children. Our Country, Our Spirit. Image of book

The book titled Our Country, Our Spirit costs $15.40 of which $5 will be donated to the organisation.

Margit wanted to create a "Chicken Soup for the Aussie Soul" type book (inspired by the Chicken Soup for the Soul series). The result is a wonderful collection penned by champion athletes, immigrants, expatriates and ordinary Australians. Included among the authors are Bronwyn Thompson who won a gold medal in Long Jump at the Melbourne Commonwealth Games, and Jason Dudley who won bronze in the decathlon in the same games.

The electronic book format was chosen because of its low cost, ease of distribution and to introduce new technology to people. The process of collating, editing, formatting and finally making the eBook available for sale took over eighteen months to complete.

The Our Country, Our Spirit eBook is available now from www.ourcountrybook.com.
