Nov 22 - In the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo there is no end in sight to the fighting between the national army and rebels led by General Laurent Nkunda.

Hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced as a result and now diplomats are desperate to find a way out of the crisis.
