An Israeli defence official says there is no humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
Gaza residents are complaining about lack of food and a shortage of water caused by damaged systems from the airstrikes. Aid agencies said hospitals are also struggling to cope with the casualties and only have a short supply of drugs. At least 433 Palestinians have been killed in the offensive and more than 2000 are wounded.
