Jan 26 - The country's military says it has captured the last major town held by Tamil Tiger rebels.
The eastern port of Mullaittivu was one of the last targets of a military onslaught aimed at ending the war with the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam which has raged for 25 years.
