Source: AlertNet
Lack of rain over the past 4 years has brought pastoralists communities in northern Uganda to the brink of starvation, so much so that most of them now rely on food aid. Experts say that the reason for the drought is climate change and that the communities are struggling to survive because of carbon emissions and environmental policies elsewhere. Africa Journal reports.
