FACTBOX-Security developments in Iraq, Nov 9

Nov 9 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1920 GMT on Friday.

* denotes new or updated items.

* KHALIS - A suicide bomber killed five Sunni Arab tribal leaders in the village of Dojemah, near the town of Khalis, 80 km (50 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

* BAGHDAD - Police said they found three bodies dumped around Baghdad on Friday.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb killed two people and wounded two others in the Shi'ite district of Kadhimiya in northern Baghdad, police sources said.

NEAR BAQUBA - Gunmen killed three people and wounded two in the village of Albu-Ajeel near Baquba, 65 km (40 miles) north of Baghdad, police said. Residents returned fire, killing four gunmen.

BALAD RUZ - Three children were killed and five others, including three women, were wounded when three mortar bombs landed in the town of Balad Ruz, 50 km (30 miles) east of Baquba, police said.

KIRKUK - A roadside bomb killed an Iraqi army captain and wounded three soldiers on a road between Kirkuk and Riyadh, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - Four bodies were found in different districts of Baghdad on Friday, police said.

HAWIJA - One policeman was killed and five others wounded by a bomb planted in a parked car in Hawija, 70 km (45 miles) southwest of Kirkuk, police said. The bomb targeted a police patrol.

SAMARRA - U.S. forces killed two gunmen on Thursday south of Samarra, a city 100 km (60 miles) north of Baghdad, the U.S. military said.

NEAR BAQUBA - A bomb planted in a field killed one child and wounded six family members, including four other children, south of Baquba, police said.
