ANKARA, Oct 31 (Reuters) - Turkey's government agreed on Wednesday to pursue economic sanctions against groups supporting the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), a senior government official said. The measures discussed during a cabinet meeting could target Masoud Barzani's autonomous Kurdish administration in northern Iraq, which has infuriated Ankara by refusing to crack down on the PKK. Thousands of PKK rebels are based in northern Iraq. No further information was immediately available.
