U.N. puts small price on halting global warming

BANGKOK, May 4 (Reuters) - Limiting global warming to a 2 degrees centigrade rise would cost 0.12 percent of global Gross Domestic Product (GDP), a U.N. climate change report said on Friday.

The third report by the Intergovernment Panel on Climate Change (IPPC) on ways to fight greenhouse gas emissions was finalised after a week-long meeting in Bangkok.
