PRISTINA, Nov 11 (Reuters) - Several people hurled stones at the motorcade of Kosovo's prime minister near the town of Decani in western Kosovo, but Hashim Thaci was not hurt in the attack, police said on Wednesday. A police statement said three people were arrested and initial, unconfirmed reports, said gunfire was heard in the vicinity. Thaci's party was holding an election rally ahead of Sunday's local elections when his convoy was attacked. Kosovo holds its first elections since the country declared independence in 2008 and they are seen as a key test for its fragile democracy. After the war ended ten years ago, Kosovo politics has been marked by bitter, sometimes violent rivalry. Reporting by Fatos Bytyci, editing by Matthew Jones)
