BAGHDAD, Oct 27 - A bomb buried in rubbish killed eight people and wounded 13 in the Diyala Bridge area of southeastern Baghdad on Saturday, Iraqi police said.

Two policemen were among those wounded in the blast, which targeted an area of restaurants.

The religiously mixed neighbourhood, named after the bridge that crosses the Diyala River into Wasit province, saw five people killed and 25 wounded in two simultaneous bombings in a busy market on Wednesday.
