Libya: Drop Convictions of Peaceful Protestors

(New York, June 12, 2008) – The Libyan government should exonerate and release 11 peaceful political activists convicted on politically motivated charges, Human Rights Watch said today. A state security court in Tripoli on June 10 reportedly sentenced the men to 6 to 25 years in prison.
