Suicide blast kills 10 Afghan civilians -police

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan, June 20 (Reuters) - A suicide attack aimed at a NATO convoy killed 10 Afghan civilians on Friday in the southern province of Helmand on Friday, the provincial police chief said.

"The civilians were killed in Girishk district when a suicide bomber attacked a foreign forces convoy," Hussein Andiwal said.

He did not know whether there were any casualties among the soldiers in the convoy. (Writing by Hamid Shalizi; Editing by Sayed Salahuddin)
