FACTBOX-Security developments in Afghanistan, April 24

April 24 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Afghanistan at 0600 GMT on Friday:

KABUL - A bomb exploded beside a police check point in Kabul before dawn, killing one policeman, a district police official said.

PAKTIA - A roadside bomb killed three Afghan soldiers and wounded five others in Garda Serai district, some 120 km (75 miles) south of Kabul, provincial police chief Aziz Ahmad Wardak said.

GHAZNI - The father of Education Minister Farooq Wardak was found alive in Khwaja Omari district of Ghazni province, 120 km (70 miles) southwest of Kabul, five days after being kidnapped.
