KARACHI, Oct 19 (Reuters) - The death toll from a suspected suicide bomb attack during former Pakistan prime minister Benazir Bhutto's return from exile climbed to at least 45, according to Reuters journalists at hospitals in Karachi

A Reuters journalist on Friday counted 33 shrouded corpses being carried on stretchers into the city's Liaquat National Hospital, while another Reuters journalist saw at least 12 more at the Jinnah hospital.

There were at least two dozen wounded admitted to Jinnah hospital, half of them in a serious condition.
