KABUL, Jan 14 (Reuters) - There was a large explosion at a luxury hotel in the Afghan capital Kabul on Monday, but there was no immediate word of any casualties, a police official said. A Western security source said a suicide bomber approached the five-star Serena Hotel and was challenged by security guards and blew himself up. The hotel is mainly frequented by foreigners.
