Aug 22 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Afghanistan at 1130 GMT on Saturday:

*Denotes new or updated items.

BAGHLAN - A roadside bomb killed six Afghan police, including a senior officer, in Baghlan province in central Afghanistan on Saturday, the interior ministry said.

* HELMAND - An explosion of a landmine killed six civilians in Helmand province in the south on Friday, the interior ministry said.

NANGARHAR - A Taliban fighter killed two police before he was shot dead in an attack on a police post on the outskirts of Jalalabad, the provincial capital of Nangarhar in the east on Friday, a security official said.
