HERAT, Afghanistan, Oct 18 (Reuters) - A suicide car bomber struck international troops near the western Afghan city of Herat on Saturday, causing several casualties, officials said. The bomber struck near Herat airport on the outskirts of the city, regional police chief Rahmataullah Safai said. There were several casualties, said a spokeswoman for the NATO-led force, but she declined to give any further details said. Most ISAF troops in Herat are Italian.
