WHO, developing nations reach vaccine access deal

JAKARTA, March 27 (Reuters) - The World Health Organisation reached a breakthrough agreement with developing nations on a fair mechanism for bird flu vaccine access on Tuesday, Indonesia's health minister said.

Siti Fadillah Supari also told reporters Indonesia had agreed to resume sending virus samples to the WHO as part of the deal, which came at the end of a meeting between WHO and health officials from 18 nations.
