Indonesia lifts tsunami warning after Sumatra quake

JAKARTA, Sept 13 (Reuters) - Indonesia's meteorology agency lifted a tsunami warning on Thursday after another strong earthquake struck Sumatra island.

The agency said the quake, which was 121 km (75 miles) northeast of Lais Bengkulu, measured 6.8 on the Richter scale and was at a shallow depth of 10 km (6.2 miles).

Indonesia has been hit by a series of powerful earthquakes since Wednesday.
