Strong earthquake strikes eastern Indonesia

JAKARTA, May 29 (Reuters) - A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 struck Indonesia's Mollucas islands, but no tsunami warning has been issued, the country's meterology and geophysical agency said on Tuesday.

The epicentre was 40 km (25 miles) southeast of the town of Labuha, an official at the agency said via a mobile phone text message.
