Indonesian boy dies of bird flu -health ministry

JAKARTA, Jan 10 (Reuters) - A 14-year-old Indonesian boy has died of bird flu, taking the country's human death toll to 58, a health ministry official said on Tuesday. The boy from Tangerang in West Java, near Jakarta, was hospitalised in the capital last week.

Runizar Ruesin, head of the Indonesian health ministry's bird flu centre, said the boy died at 11.55 a.m. local time (0455 GMT).
