JAKARTA, Aug 26 (Reuters) - Indonesia has lifted a tsunami warning issued after an undersea earthquake struck off West Java on Tuesday, a meteorological agency official said on Tuesday.

The agency said the epicentre of the quake, which it had put at 6.6 on the Richter scale, was about 125 km (77.67 miles) north west of Ujung Kulon in West Java at a depth of 20 km.

The U.S. Geological survey later issued a bulletin that put the earthquake at a magnitude of 5.8 and at a depth of 43 km.
