Sept 4 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1630 GMT on Thursday.

* BAGHDAD - Two U.S. soldiers were killed by a roadside bomb attack in eastern Baghdad, the U.S. military said.

BAGHDAD - Three people were wounded when a suspected al- Qaeda militant threw a grenade at a neighbourhood patrol checkpoint in the Adhamiya district of northern Baghdad, the U.S. military said.

BAGHDAD - Gunmen killed Nabil Abdul-Hassan, a director general at the Transport Ministry, in a drive-by shooting in the Ur district of northeastern Baghdad on Wednesday, police said.

BAGHDAD - The body of a man was found in Baghdad on Wednesday, police said.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb wounded four civilians in eastern Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - Two soldiers were wounded when gunmen opened fire at a checkpoint in Mansour district of western Baghdad, police said.

TIKRIT - Four policemen were wounded on Wednesday when a roadside bomb exploded near their patrol in the city of Tikrit, 150 km (95 miles) north of Baghdad, a provincial security spokesman said.
