The military said 12 militants had taken refuge in the house. * BAGHDAD - U.S. forces killed 11 militants and detained six during operations targeting al Qaeda in Iraq west and north of Baghdad, the U.S. military said. BAGHDAD - The bodies of 10 people were found in Baghdad on Saturday, police said. BAGHDAD - Gunmen killed a female pilgrim and wounded six, including three children, in a drive-by shooting in the southern Doura district of Baghdad, police said. The victims had been heading to the holy city of Kerbala. KIRKUK - A roadside bomb killed a female shepherd and a number of her cattle in southern Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police said. BAGHDAD - The Iraqi army killed eight militants and detained 81 during the last 24 hours in different areas of Iraq, the Defence Ministry said.
