NATO soldier killed in Afghanistan battle

KABUL, June 9 (Reuters) - A NATO soldier was killed and four others wounded on Saturday in combat in southern Afghanistan, the NATO alliance's U.N.-mandated Afghan security force said.

The NATO-led International Security Assistance Force, which is battling Taliban insurgents, gave no details in a short statement. It does not release the nationalities of casualties.
