BAGHDAD, Dec 1 (Reuters) - The U.S. military in Iraq said on Saturday that it was not aware of any incursion by Turkish forces across the border into northern Iraq.

"We don't have any reports of Turkish operations across the border," U.S. military spokesman Major Winfield Danielson told Reuters.

Jabbar Yawar, spokesman of Kurdistan's Peshmerga security forces, said: "I personally called all commanders and officials on the border and I confirm that there is no military incursion by the Turkish army into the region's territories." (Baghdad newsroom)
