MOGADISHU, Jan 1 (Reuters) - Somali Prime Minister Ali Mohamed Gedi said on Monday residents of Mogadishu, one of the world's most dangerous and gun-infested cities in the world, had three days to lay down their weapons or be disarmed by force.

"We have given three days from tomorrow," Gedi told reporters. "Afterwards, the government has the support and endorsement of the people of Mogadishu to collect the weapons by force."
