Bulgaria forgives $56.6 mln of Libyan debt

SOFIA, Aug 2 (Reuters) - The Bulgarian government decided on Thursday to forgive $56.6 million in Soviet-era debt it is owed by Libya after a deal led to the release of six medics convicted of infecting Libyan children with HIV.
