July 2 (Reuters) - A Palestinian rammed a bulldozer into an Israeli commuter bus, cars and pedestrians on one of Jerusalem's busiest streets on Wednesday, killing at least two people and wounding dozens, emergency services said.

It was the first Arab attack in Jewish west Jerusalem since a gunman killed eight students in a religious school in March.

Following is a short chronology of attacks in Jerusalem in the past five years.

May 18, 2003 - Palestinian suicide bomber kills 7 on a bus in the French Hill district of Jerusalem. Twenty are injured. Another suicide bomber strikes soon afterwards at a nearby roadblock but kills only himself.

June 11, 2003 - Seventeen people are killed when a suicide bomber blows up a bus near an open-air market in central Jerusalem's Jaffa Road. At least 100 are injured. Hamas claimed responsibility.

Aug. 19, 2003 - A suspected Palestinian suicide bombing rips through a bus in Jewish west Jerusalem killing 23 people.

Sept. 9, 2003 - Two bombings hit Israel, one in Tel Aviv and one in Jerusalem. In the second bombing, seven people are killed and dozens wounded in a suicide bombing in a west Jerusalem cafe. Hamas's military wing said it was responsible for both bombings.

Jan. 29, 2004 - A suicide bomber blows up a bus in West Jerusalem, near the office of Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, killing 10 people. The al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades claimed responsibility. Hamas also claimed responsibility the next day.

Feb. 22, 2004 - A Palestinian suicide bomber blows himself up on an Israeli bus in Jerusalem, killing eight people.

Sept. 22, 2004 - Palestinian woman suicide bomber blows herself up near a hitch-hiking post in East Jerusalem, killing two Israeli border policemen.

March 6, 2008 - Palestinian gunman kills eight students at the Jewish Merkaz Harav religious college in Jerusalem. Hamas officials claim the deadliest attack by Palestinian on Israelis in two years. The gunman was also shot dead.
