May 3 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1325 GMT on Saturday. * denotes new or updated items. * SHIRQAT - A mortar killed one child and wounded two other children in Shirqat, 300 km (190 miles) north of Baghdad, police said. * MOSUL - A roadside bomb exploded near a police patrol, wounding three policemen in eastern Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said. BAGHDAD - U.S. forces and the Iraqi army killed 14 militants in separate incidents on Friday in eastern Baghdad, the U.S. military said. Hospital officials in the eastern Baghdad militia stronghold of Sadr City said 14 bodies had been brought in overnight, but did not know if they were fighters or civilians. They said 25 people had been wounded. BAGHDAD - Two rockets landed near the al-Sadr hospital in Sadr City, wounding 20 people including women and children, and incinerating or damaging 11 ambulances, police and hospital sources said. BAGHDAD - A U.S. soldier died from wounds sustained when a roadside bomb struck his vehicle during a combat patrol in eastern Baghdad on Friday, the U.S. military said. BAGHDAD - A rocket hit an apartment block, killing two people and wounding seven others on Friday, in Baghdad's central Salihiya district, police said. BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb killed a civilian and wounded eight other people, including six traffic policemen, when it exploded near a traffic patrol in Jamiaa district, western Baghdad, police said. NEAR TIKRIT - A roadside bomb struck an Iraqi army patrol, killing two Iraqi soldiers and wounding four others on the outskirts of Tikrit, 175 km (110 miles) north of Baghdad, police and army sources said. KIRKUK - A roadside bomb wounded three policemen when it struck their patrol in central Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.BAGHDAD - Three bodies were found in different districts of Baghdad on Friday, police said.
