DUBAI, June 4 (Reuters) - Al Qaeda said on Wednesday it was behind a suicide attack on Denmark's embassy in Pakistan, saying it was in revenge for the publication of caricatures of the Prophet Mohammad.

According to an Internet statement, signed by al Qaeda's leader in Afghanistan, Mustafa Abu al-Yazid, said Denmark had "not apologised" for the publication of the cartoons. (Reporting by Firouz Sedarat)
