May 6 (Reuters) - Eight American soldiers were killed in bomb attacks in Iraq on Sunday, the U.S. military said. In a statement, the military said the deadliest incident was when a roadside bomb killed six soldiers and a journalist in volatile Diyala province. The bomb hit a vehicle they were travelling in. Two other U.S. soldiers were killed in separate bomb attacks on Sunday, the military said, including one in Baghdad. Another soldier was killed in an incident not related to combat.
