BAGHDAD, Dec 7 (Reuters) - A car bomb at a checkpoint in Iraq's restive Diyala province killed seven Iraqi soldiers and three members of a neighbourhood patrol on Friday, police said.

The attack in the village of Dali Abbas took place hours after a female suicide bomber killed 16 people in a nearby town in the province northeast of Baghdad.
