ABIDJAN, Feb 7 (Reuters) - A European Union diplomat was killed by unidentified attackers overnight in Ivory Coast, a colleague told Reuters on Wednesday. "I can confirm the violent death of a member of the delegation," a senior European Commission official told Reuters by telephone, without giving further details. It was not immediately clear whether the killing took place during a robbery or had other motivations.
