Kurdish rebels kill 13 soldiers in SE Turkey

TUNCELI, Turkey, Oct 7 (Reuters) - Kurdish rebels shot dead 13 Turkish soldiers on Sunday in a gun battle in the southeastern province of Sirnak, Turkish security officials said.

One Kurdish rebel had been killed in fighting in the province earlier in the day.
