HURGHADA, Egypt, Jan 7 (Reuters) - Egyptian rescuers were searching on Sunday for four divers missing for a day off the Red Sea coast, security sources said.

They said the group, comprising an Egyptian, a Dutchman and two Russians, were missing off Marsa Allam, about 675 km (420 miles) southeast of Cairo.

A third Russian was rescued on Sunday after he managed to swim back towards the beach at Marsa Allam.

According to the state news agency MENA, the group were diving on Saturday near a coral reef 25 km northeast of Marsa Allam, but were unable to return to their boat because of bad weather and rough seas.

A search plane and boats were searching for the missing divers, MENA said.
