Bombs hit near Polish embassy in Baghdad-diplomat

BAGHDAD, Oct 8 (Reuters) - Four explosions hit near the Polish embassy in Baghdad on Monday, less than a week after Poland's ambassador was injured in a bomb attack, but there were no casualties or major damage, a Polish diplomat said.

"There were four explosions at different distances (from the embassy). It happened in the morning and early afternoon," acting ambassador Waldemar Figaj told Reuters.
