Fire kills 11 in Austrian retirement home -report

VIENNA, Feb 8 (Reuters) - A fire killed 11 people at a retirement home in the western Austrian town of Egg on Friday, Austrian news agency APA reported.

Another five people were injured while 23 people were evacuated, according to APA, citing emergency services. No details were given as to why the fire had broken out. (Reporting by Karin Strohecker)
